The ongoing issuance of restrictive decrees in Afghanistan has placed the critical intersection of religious interpretation, codified law, and contemporary politics at the forefront of international and domestic discourse. To address these vital structural concerns, the 6th episode of the specialized panel series, titled "Taliban Decrees and the Boundary Between Religion and Politics in Contemporary Afghanistan," is scheduled to convene.
This high-level panel is jointly hosted by the Dialogue Hub for Common Ground, the Women’s Motion Network (WMN), and the Women’s Justice Movement. The event brings together a distinguished group of legal scholars, theologians, academics, and prominent human rights defenders to analyze the systemic impacts of recent edicts.
