International Networking

We are not a national movement — we are a global movement rooted in Afghanistan.

Why it matters

Exile is not weakness — it is a network of transnational solidarity. International pressure is the only effective lever against forced returns and for justice.

What we do
  • Collaborate with Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, Frontline Defenders
  • Form coalitions with Afghan women’s movements in Europe, USA, Turkey, India, Australia
  • Pressure host governments to stop forced returns and grant special protection
  • Participate in the UN Human Rights Council and CSW
  • Organize international conferences for Afghan women (online and in-person)
Testimony

When I spoke at the CEDAW committee in Geneva, I realized: I am not alone.
My voice is connected to thousands of other women.

M.H., UN representative of the movement
