Our Mission

Mission.

To defend the fundamental rights of women and girls against systemic human rights violations and gender apartheid, through education, documentation, support, independent storytelling, and rights-based advocacy at national and international levels

Goal

To strengthen human dignity, gender equality, and access to education, protection, justice, and social participation for Afghan women, while establishing accountability mechanisms for perpetrators of women’s rights violations.

Policies

Our activities are guided by the following principles:

  • Prioritizing the safety and protection of women (Do No Harm)
  • Independence, political neutrality, and victim-centered approaches
  • Confidentiality and protection of identities of at-risk individuals
