Women’s Rights Advocacy

Silence is complicity. We document, campaign, and apply pressure.

Why it matters

The Taliban systematically enforce anti-women policies: banning education, restricting work, and detaining protesting women. Documentation is the first step toward justice.

What we do
  • Collect and verify documented reports of women’s rights violations in 34 provinces
  • Daily Reporting on the Status of Women's Rights in Afghanistan
  • Active participation in the Afghan Women's Testimonial Tribunal/Court Abroad against the Taliban.
  • Global campaigns: #NoRecognitionWithoutRights, #StopForcedReturns
  • Collaborate with UN Human Rights Office and CEDAW Committee
Testimony

After being arrested during the June 3 protest, I spent 14 days in jail. I said: ‘My home is this country — and I have the right to live in it.’ Now my report is part of an international case against the Taliban.

N.Z., human rights activist, Kabul.
